I read a article from Espn.com.  With this off season in basketball being on of the most exciting I have ever experienced, I find myself on sporting web sits alot trying
to stay apart of the action.  This off season LeBron James went back to his hometown and team (Cleveland Cavilers) and with that unexpected move he took a few of his old
teammates with him.  In the process of leaving LeBron recruited James Jone a Miami veteran and Mike Miller.  Both Jone and Miller won a championship with LeBron.
Mike Miller came out and said he is excited and ready to let it fly.  James Jones said "Theres no place I'd rather be".
My personal reaction to this is that I don't think that James Jone should have left the Heat so late in his career.  I think he is going about getting another ring the
wrong way.  I also think he is trying to get a bigger role in the offense that he wasn't getting in Miami, that understandable.  I think Mike Miller is just a good player
he has been on a new team two years straight.  So I don't know what going on with him.
I think the author of this article tried to be positive about the trades.  He was quoting Jone and Miller when they said positive stuff about the team and players.
He also made sure to put stuff like the were smiling alot during the interview. This was a Chronological pattern.

I read a article on David Wilson a running back who played for the New York Giants.  David was put on the sidelines after a neck injured at the end of last season.  While in training camp last week he hurt his neck again, but this time it it more serious.  David Wilson went to the doctor to check on his neck injury when he was told he is not advised to play football anymore.  David Wilson was told he has diffuse cervical stenosis, and if he doesn't stop playing football he will open himself up to more neck pains and other health issues. David Wilson is only 23 years old and has only complete two season in the NFL.
When I read this article i put goose bumps all over my body because my brother playing in the NCAA and I could only imagine if something like this happened to him. My heart also went out to David because football was his life and now the one thing he had been doing his whole life he cant do anymore.
I think the  authors intent was to tell a positive story, the reason why I believe that is because the author quoted David in the article; and all the quotes were him saying something positive.  One of the quotes were"“I lived my dream. A lot of people only get to dream their dream. I lived that dream."  Although his football career is over his life is not.  He can bounce back from this tragedy and still be great.  The author is trying to give hope.
